High Street Athletics is growing again and welcomes Battle Creek to the family! High Street Battle Creek will provide volleyball opportunities at all levels, from beginner to elite, as well as programming and training that serves every age group.
Tom Vanwienen will serve as the Battle Creek Site Director and brings many years of volleyball coaching and leadership expertise.
High Street's Managing Partner Kilee Goetz shares, "We are excited to continue to add such quality and experience to the high street staff. Our goal is to provide quality teachers who are able and willing to coach any athlete, at any level, with pride and compassion. Tom is a professional and displays these qualities day in and day out. He will make an amazing addition to our staff on the west side in collaboration with Kalamazoo County. We look forward to learning from Tom and adding valuable insight to helping our west side families and spreading it club-wide.”
Coach Vanwienen is the current Head Coach at Kellogg Community College, and shares the vision that is key to High Street Athletics of providing volleyball training and competition at every level, working together with the area schools and staff to serve the areas where there is need.
“I am eager to get Tom up and running within the staff and program. He brings an energy and vision that is exciting and runs off on all those around him. He fits perfectly with the personality of our entire team at High Street,” says Kilee Goetz.

Tom and his staff are eager to get the 2020 season started with High Street Athletics and look forward to seeing athletes of all ages and levels at the Sunday 11/3/19 tryout.
